This game needed a pc port badly back in the day. Going from smooth 60 fps of mgs2 to unstable 30 fps on mgs4 was jarring asf.

hola amigo me suscribi a tu canal para apoyarte gracias, cosa muy curiosa q he notado, el sistema operativo y las animaciones se ven muuuuy fluidas me gusta, cual es ese so linux? ahora referente al gameplay no entiendo como es q se removioo el bloom el motion blur tambien por lo q veo y demas efectos del juego si solo activaste los mismos parches q yo, esta bien raro eso.. deberia verse lo mas parecido al juego original con todos sus efectos, tal como en mi video..yo tambien lo he probado con el motion blur y el bloom apagado y si gano unos cuantos fps, aunq lo estas jugando tambin en 4k cosa q es mas exigente.. a mi se desagrada jugar algo q no sea lo mas fiel visualmente y efectos al original soy un maniatico con los emuladores jeje, pero bueno supongo q me quedare con las ganas de verlo identico al mio

Just finished it with RPCS3, with a 10400f cpu, 16gb ram and 6600xt, played at mostly between 25-45fps, it takes a decent amount of tweaking, the kind that would confuse your average player, the biggest issue is frame pacing, and shader compilation stutter, despite the higher frame rate, it feels just like ps3 with constant ups and downs the best part was higher resolution and being able to use dualsense instead of dualshock. It is compromised experience, I hope KONAMI will relase this game with MGS Collection VOL2, this game seriously needs a proper port.

I beat this on Insane difficulty solo and all I got to say it was painful and struggling but I did it the most difficult parts I will never forget that took me awhile to pass was when you become Cole for the first time and you take the skyline to the bridge you encounter the Giant Lambert boomer that shoots from its arm instant kills you every time when you land even when you get to cover lol and the barge on top of the tower in another level, you have to defeat little waves of Theron guards while the barge is shooting you and it's instant kill and aim bot and the armor kantus with the centipede while Theron guards with crossbows. The ending wasn't that bad but I got that 75G and it was the most satisfying accomplishment, I had fun and it was worth it.

I see "my" PS5 is getting a good use.

Camera movement is weird in 60 FPS. It looks like Gran Turismo or Ridge Racer!

What version of the game are you using, more specifically what serial does your version of the game have? I've tried the BLUS-30442 version and it's damn near unplayable at points, running at 20fps with a bunch of visual bugs.

Very hard to make it run , lots of tweeking , patches , but finaly made it work , still have long loading times but at least no crashes and game works flawless . 4 K locked at 60 fps on a Lenovo legion Ryzen7 6800H / RTX 3070 TI / 32 gb DDR 5 . Great game , they dont make em like this anymore.

Man, the water looks amazing. I'm still convinced it's better on Cemu, since you can easily push past 100fps with similar graphics. But I'll keep looking into it, always up for being wrong :)
